Popular theme park Enchanted Kingdom will reopen its doors to guests on October 17 and every weekend thereafter.

The City of Santa Rosa in Laguna has granted Enchanted Kingdom, located at RSBS Boulevard San Lorenzo South, the authority to operate after it passed the inspection on the theme park done by city officials.

“We have been inspected and granted the authority to operate by the City of Santa Rosa as endorsed by concerned government agencies such as the DOT, DTI, and DOLE. We have also renewed our DOT accreditation,” said the company on its website.

For the safety of its patrons, the theme park had updated its health and safety protocols to comply with the regulations and guidelines of the government’s Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF). These guidelines include the mandatory wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the form of face masks and full-face shields in all public areas for both our employees and guests, as well maintaining proper physical distancing while inside the park.

To comply with the proper physical distancing guidelines, the theme park also reduced its park capacity by 50 percent at any given time that includes a reduction in rides and attractions capacity, as well as for venues such as restaurants, shops, and even restrooms.

As required by IATF guidelines, only guests who are 21 to 59 years old will be allowed to enter the theme park. An acceptable valid photo ID with birthdate may also be requested for validation. (Update: Persons aged 15 to 65 years old are now allowed to go out of their homes during community quarantine, Malacanang said on Friday, October 16.)

Here are the park operating hours:

  • October 17 to November 30, 2020 (Saturdays and Sundays)

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

  • December 1-13, 2020 (Saturdays and Sundays)

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

  • December 14, 2020-January 3, 2021 (Daily)

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

As the theme park emphasized that guests should bring face masks and full face shields as requirements to enter Enchanted Kingdom, visor type face shields and/or goggles will not be allowed.

It also advises guests to bring their own personal safety kits composed of the following: alcohol-based sanitizers, tissues, face towels, and wet wipes.

As it can only accept 50-percent capacity, the theme park encourages guests to make pre-booking, online reservations, and advanced ticket purchases for a hassle-free visit.

Guests can purchase their tickets through any of the following:

  • Walk-in (Makati Sales Office and EK Front Gates)
  • Online via the EK Online Store — Coming Soon
  • EK’s Online Travel Agent Partners (Klook, KKDay, SM Tickets, TicketWorld, Traveloka, TicketNet, KTix).

Although Enchanted Kingdom will still accept cash transactions, it encourages cashless, credit card, and GCash transactions. Contactless transactions are preferred.  Trays are also provided to limit direct contact for cash and credit card handling.
