Crimson Hotel Filinvest City, Manila officially welcomed the holiday season with its Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony with the theme “Take Me to Christmas, Take Me to Crimson.” The event was held recently in its elegant lobby, with festive cheer, music, dances, and warm community spirit.
This year’s Christmas tree, a centerpiece adorned with whimsical ornaments inspired by vintage hot-air balloons, captures the essence of adventure and childlike wonder. Each decoration symbolizes heartfelt wishes for joy, love, and togetherness, setting the tone for a season dedicated to creating meaningful memories.
“At Crimson, the holidays are about more than just decorations; they’re about creating memories that bring loved ones closer together. Whether you’re enjoying a festive city escape, planning a family gathering, or indulging in seasonal treats, we aim to make every moment special,” said Arlene Tongco, Crimson Hotel’s general manager during the event.
Joining Tongco in illuminating the tree were Ivannovich Agote from the Department of Tourism, Ria Sarrosa, Chroma Hospitality’s Vice President of Operations, Muntinlupa Councilor Allen Ampaya, Catherine Ilagan, President of Filinvest Alabang, Inc., and even Santa Claus himself, adding a magical touch to the evening.
A journey to joy
The tree-lighting ceremony also unveiled Crimson’s “Journey to Joy,” a festive transformation of its eighth-floor gallery. This enchanting wonderland features holiday decor and special touches designed to immerse guests in the holiday spirit. A standout feature this year is Santa’s Mailbox, where guests can send their Christmas wishes while supporting a meaningful cause.
Tongco emphasized the charitable heart of this year’s celebration: “Through our Letters of Hope initiative, in partnership with SOS Children’s Foundation, we’re helping make holiday wishes come true for children in need. Additionally, our collaboration with the Philippine Institute for the Deaf opens opportunities for young people through internships at Crimson, making the season truly impactful.”
The evening was made even more memorable with heartwarming performances by the De La Salle-Zobel Chorale and the talented students from the Philippine Institute for the Deaf. Their songs of hope and joy resonated through the lobby, spreading the spirit of the season to all in attendance.
Guests also enjoyed a delightful grazing buffet, which offered a sneak peek at the indulgent feasts Crimson has prepared for the holidays. The hotel’s Christmas and New Year lineup promises unforgettable moments, including bountiful gatherings and a grand Pop of Color celebration to ring in 2025 on New Year’s Eve.
Crimson Hotel’s tree-lighting event reflects its commitment to creating a holiday experience that’s not just festive but also meaningful for its guests and the community. This year, Crimson Hotel invites everyone to make their holidays a time of connection, joy, and unforgettable memories. Because at Crimson, the season isn’t just celebrated—it’s cherished.
