South Warriors Swimming Team (SWST) snatched 43 medals in the Swimming Championship in Singapore

South Warriors Swimming TeamSWST swimmers recently proved their skills, hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship by bagging 15 golds, 18 silver, and 10 bronze in individual and relay events in the waters of Singapore. This 2-day event, held in Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) on August 26 and 27, concluded with a sumptuous lunch followed by an awarding ceremony where our own Johann Riley Busadre floated up as the top swimmer for the 8-9 boys age group with his 6 golds.

Other swimmers who participated in the said event are Orianthi Gamboa (8-9 Girls) with 5 silver and 1 bronze, Marcus Jared Dula (10-11 Boys) with 3 golds and 5 silver, Nohj Nathaniel Camilon (10-11 Boys) with 1 gold and 3 bronze, Jaiden Busadre (10-11 Boys) with 2 golds and 1 bronze, John Angelo Andaya (12-13 Boys) with 1 gold, Jhunery Vinluan (14-15 Boys) with 1 silver and 1 bronze, Kiera Macaraig (14-15 Girls) with 2 silver and 1 bronze, Feriz Gabriel Españo, (15-16 Boys) with 2 silver and 1 bronze, Kyle Salvador (15-16 Boys) with 2 silver and last but not the least Kate Macaraig (16-17 Girls) with 2 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronze. SWST delegation was headed by Coach Marlon Dula and assisted by Coach Michael Raper.

SWST is a Swim League Philippines or SLP member, which emerged as the overall champion in the recently held swimming competition.
