Taiwan Award-Winning Foods Pavilion makes its debut at the World Food Expo 2024

Foodies, listen up. The Taiwan Award-Winning Foods Pavilion making its debut at the World Food Expo today. More than tasting delicious food from Taiwan, the exhibit is also about experiencing a piece of the Asian country’s culture and craftsmanship.

Held at the SMX Convention Center in Manila from July 31 to August 3, 2024, this pavilion promises a delightful dive into Taiwan’s culinary excellence, whether you’re a business owner, an entrepreneur, or a travel enthusiast.

Organized by the International Trade Administration, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the pavilion features nearly 150 products from 68 renowned Taiwanese companies. Visitors can explore a variety of mouth-watering offerings, from appetizers and sauces to beverages and pastries, all highlighting the rich flavors and traditions of Taiwan.

Among the highlights are Taiwan’s famous pineapple cakes, a treat that has become synonymous with the island’s culinary culture. But that’s just the beginning. Visitors can also savor the Custard Taro Pastry and Walnut Candy, each offering a unique taste of Taiwanese dessert craftsmanship.

On the beverage front, the ever-popular pearl milk tea will be available, alongside innovative drinks like honey lemon capsules and lei cha latte. For tea enthusiasts, there are exquisite Taiwanese tea gift boxes, perfect for a sophisticated sip.
