Moda Interni is crafting a legacy of luxury and innovation in the Filipino design landscape. With its expertly curated “experience center,” an elevated showroom, the company brings the best Italian craftsmanship to Manila, redefining luxury living for discerning Filipinos.

Under the leadership of CEO Goldwin Sison, Moda Interni (which translates to “Interior Fashion” in Italian) offers a true experience of sophistication, timeless design, and style for Filipino homes.

The Moda Interni location along Sct. Rallos in Quezon City features an exclusive collection of some of Italy’s most prestigious luxury furniture brands: Turri, Pedini, Opera Contemporary, and LAGO. These brands are renowned for their meticulous attention to detail, stunning aesthetics, and top-tier craftsmanship. For Moda Interni, these collections represent more than just beautiful furniture. To them, they are pieces that convey a story of elegance and reflect a vision of luxury living.

“We carry these Italian brands because they align perfectly with our vision of bringing the best of international design to the Filipino market,” Sison said. Moda Interni’s mission, he said, is to provide luxurious items to help “create experiences that inspire our customers.”

Walking through the experience center, which opened in May 2023, is a journey on its own. There, clients are encouraged to explore, envision, and draw inspiration for their homes. The experience center’s interiors are designed to highlight each piece’s unique characteristics and versatility. This approach transforms the shopping process into an experience where homeowners can imagine their spaces elevated to new heights of luxury.

“We’re not just selling furniture, we’re creating experiences,” Sison said. The experience center, he said, is regularly refreshed, with pieces rotated to keep up with evolving trends. “We change our showroom every year to keep things fresh and in line with international design movements,” Sison said, adding that this dynamic aspect helps Moda Interni offer a contemporary yet timeless experience that appeals to Filipino tastes.

The art of creating conversation pieces

For Moda Interni, luxury furniture is more than aesthetic value—it’s about creating conversation pieces that add character to a space. The pieces in their showroom are not only built to stand the test of time but are designed to be reflections of the homeowner’s unique style and personality.

One of the items in the experience center, for example, is a marble dining table with matching chairs valued at around ₱4 million. It’s a piece that sparks conversations, adding sophistication and depth to a home.

There’s also a plush sofa priced at ₱1.8 million but also smaller luxury accents like a throw pillow that retails for around ₱13,000.

“These pieces are meant to be true classics—ones that can be passed down from generation to generation,” the CEO said. “It’s about telling the personality of the homeowner while standing the test of time.”

The Philippine luxury furniture market is a competitive space, but Sison is confident in the value Moda Interni offers. The curated Italian brands, the focus on experience, and the quality of each piece make Moda Interni stand out from the rest.

While their clientele often comes through recommendations by architects and interior designers, Moda Interni also welcomes walk-in customers seeking to explore the luxury experience.

The demand for luxury furniture

Interestingly, luxury furniture continues to thrive in the Philippines despite its exclusivity and price points. Filipinos, especially those with discerning tastes, have developed an appreciation for items that can tell a story, reflect their style, and provide timeless beauty in their homes.

Sison believes that this trend is driven by a shift toward furniture pieces that combine natural elements like wood and metal, blending simplicity with sophistication. He notes that there’s a growing market for high-quality, handcrafted pieces that marry form with function—furniture that transforms a space into a statement.

In many ways, luxury items like those offered by Moda Interni aren’t just furniture but are art forms.

By curating world-class Italian brands and offering customers an immersive experience, Moda Interni has created a space where innovation and classic luxury coexist beautifully. Sison’s vision is clear: to inspire homeowners, help them craft their spaces with elegance, and bring a touch of Italian craftsmanship into Filipino homes.
