Fresh produce and other products from farmers and small local businesses in Cagayan, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and National Capital Region will be available for pick-up and walk-in purchases on June 10 to 12 at The Junction in Carmelray Industrial Park 1 in Calamba Laguna.
For the this trade fair, the Department of Trade and Industry-Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (DTI-BDTP) has partnered with Carmelray Industrial Park to hold the first “Bagsakan” trade fair outside NCR.
The Bagsakan Special Project, which started as an initiative at the onset of the pandemic to sell fresh fruits from the postponed National Food Fair, aims to ensure the continuous supply of food to NCR, as well as help restore the livelihoods of micro SMEs.
The DTI-BDTP and DTI Region 2 , in partnership with Mayani, an online platform for ordering fresh produce and other local products at low prices, have been supporting 600 farmers across Luzon.
The “Bagsakan Project” will start from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at The Junction, Wisdom Avenue corner Knowledge Avenue, Carmelray Industrial Park 1.
Resellers around the area can also take advantage of getting high-quality products at low prices or connecting with the exhibitors to continue sourcing products.
Chop suey baskets for as low as P50.00 will be available along with other fresh produce from Cagayan Valley and will be delivered to the customers’ homes or to The Junction on June 11. Pre-orders can be placed until 9 June, 12:00 pm. Visit https://cutt.ly/BAGSAKAN to browse and pre-order the produce.
