Cakes, pies are all labor of love at Little Kitchen 7

Little Kitchen 7 offers baskets of goodies consisting of scrumptious cakes, custards, and pies.

Lockdowns imposed upon cities and communities because of the COVID-19 pandemic has also become an opportunity for food businesses to survive and thrive by shifting to digital platforms to reach and serve their market.

Apparently, the lockdown has also become an opportunity for many to put up their online food business and hasten their move to becoming entrepreneurs by doing what they love—preparing dishes or baking bread.

Finding a lot of time on his hands during the quarantine, PR practitioner Marlon Aldenese turned to his hobby of baking, which, in the months since, has grown into a full-blown passion and a business.

His two-decade experience as COOK Magazine’s sales manager has also helped Marlon bring his particular foodie expertise to his own brand Little Kitchen 7.

A business on digital platform, Little Kitchen 7 offers baskets of goodies consisting of scrumptious cakes, custards, and pies prepared from Marlon’s tiny kitchen.

The products have become sought-after when Marlon started selling them online.

To come out with the current lineup of delicious cakes and pastries, he began making and adjusting recipes of baked goods he personally likes himself, and not just what’s trendy on social media.

Little Kitchen 7’s products are made with a lot of care and a desire to share what Marlon personally enjoys as a baker.

Banana Loaf

Little Kitchen 7 Banana Loaf offers crunchy texture and richer loaf, thanks to butterscotch which makes for the richer loaf with crunchy crust. The banana loaf also comes in chocolate chip variety, and raisin and cashew flavor playfully called “BanaNuts”.  The loaf comes in a 8.5 x 4.5-inch pan.

The humble Egg Pie is a staple in every neighborhood bakery, but Little Kitchen 7 has given it a luxurious twist by having a buttery crust complemented with smooth and creamy custard.

Creamy Egg Pie

“I tweaked the crust many times before I was happy with it,” said Marlon.

Commercial egg pie varieties are often made with just custard powder because it’s cheaper, but at Little Kitchen 7, The Creamy Egg Pie, which comes in a 9-inch pan, is true to its name. It is made only from farm-fresh eggs.

Another Pinoy staple, the Leche Flan is also among the most popular products at Little Kitchen 7, where they are oven-baked to golden creamy perfection.

Little Kitchen7’s Moist Chocolate Cake To Go comes in a handy 500ml round microwavable container and is perfect for all your chocolate cravings.

The cake is smothered and layered in a delectable chocolate ganache, that even little bites go a long way. This recipe is based on the classic Moist Chocolate Cake that Marlon used to personally bake for his clients.
