Following the success of their branches in premier locations of Bonifacio Global City and Makati, Breeze Oriental Spa & Massage recently opened their flagship store in the vibrant heart of Pasay City.

Authenticity is one of the things that people always look for, not just in the products that they buy or the services that they patronize, it is also a quality that people look for in others, as well as something that they always aspire for in themselves.

Being authentic is simply being true. It can be expressed in one’s words, more so in one’s actions, and this highly valued quality is something that Derek Xiao, CEO, is banking on when the group put up Breeze.

As a massage enthusiast, Xiao has been looking for a massage outlet which offers authentic traditional massage, however, this search has left him feeling frustrated. It was either the technique is wrong or he didn’t feel any relief after. He also tried different home massage services but nothing ever met his expectations.

To solve this unmet need, Xiao made the most of his stay in China which is well known for its massage techniques and services. There he was able to get professional trainers to teach massage therapists at Breeze with the proper techniques in giving massages. It all started with four Chinese Masters leading the team of 20 massage therapists in 2018 and now with more than 60 local therapists, they are able to guide them well on how to do Chinese traditional meridian massage. Some of the massage treatments include acupressure, which is similar to acupuncture, that relies more on identifying the key pressure points to be able to alleviate aches, pain, stress, and other ailments.

Such techniques have been continuously passed on to different Chinese Masters for the past 3,000 years, and now with Filipino Masters in its three branches. Aside from training Breeze’s massage therapists, the in-house Masters can also be booked for specialty treatments at the client’s request.

Catering in the Philippines for more than five years and with its 3rd branch opening in Metro Manila, the flagship store not only represents a business expansion but it symbolizes a commitment to fostering a culture of self-care, relaxation, and holistic wellness. “We are opening gateways to a world where each individual can escape the hustle and bustle, find solace, and embark on a journey towards a healthier and happier life,” said Xiao.

While they put a premium in making sure that Breeze is able to provide a great ambiance with 5-star facilities for their clients–even the room scent that they use have been carefully selected to help clients feel more relaxed, providing the best massage techniques is still their priority. From there, they continue to select the best products to be used in Breeze, from imported milk massage lotions, essential oils to super comfortable massage beds.

Of course, cleanliness is also of utmost importance in an establishment like Breeze. All the towels, blankets, etc. that have been used by clients are all immediately cleaned after use.

Xiao reiterates the importance of how their clients will feel after each massage, that they end up feeling relieved and very much relaxed. None of the soreness that some people tend to complain about after a massage.

Breeze Oriental Spa & Massage CEO Derek Xiao

More than ever, Breeze prioritize massage effects over mere relaxation. Their method may involve addressing meridian blockages, which might cause slight discomfort during the massage. However, this temporary discomfort leads to unparalleled relief and ease in the following days and weeks, comparable to the discomfort of a dental procedure’s short-term discomfort for a long-time relief. Expect some level of discomfort during their massages as they work on clearing blockages in meridians, allowing the flow of “Qi” for improved well-being.

For those who want to enjoy authentic Chinese Traditional Massage, everyone is welcome to Breeze Oriental Spa to enjoy their selection of treatments.

From Foot Massage (choose from Oriental Foot Massage, Breeze Signature Foot Massage, and Pampering Foot Massage), Neck and Shoulder Massage (choose from Relaxing Neck and Shoulder Massage and Soothing Neck and Shoulder Massage), Body Massage (choose from Pressure Points Massage, Shiatsu Massage, and Thai Massage), Aromatherapy Massage (Revitalize Oil Massage, Wellness Oil Massage, and Detoxify Oil Massage) to other services like Cuppin Therapy, Back Scraping, Traditional Pedicure, Foot and Scrub, clients will always have something to enjoy during their much deserve me-time at Breeze.
