The KoolPals, a powerhouse comedy ensemble, has officially launched TheKoolPals Bar at Century Park Hotel in Pasay, Metro Manila’s newest hotspot for stand-up comedy fans. More than just a venue, this entertainment hub blends live comedy performances with interactive podcast recordings, offering a unique and exciting experience for its guests.
For The KoolPals, opening their bar was a long-time dream finally realized. “From the start, we dreamed of having our own space,” said founding member James Caraan. “The podcast played a big part in promoting stand-up comedy, and now we have a venue to grow our community and share more laughs.”
Set apart by its dual purpose as both a live podcast studio and a comedy bar, TheKoolPals Bar promises a one-of-a-kind experience in Metro Manila. Guests can watch live recordings of The KoolPals podcast while enjoying top-notch Pinoy stand-up comedy from the country’s finest performers.
“This is every comedian’s playground,” said GB Labrador, a pioneering member. “It’s a space where comedy, good food, and great drinks come together. People can relax, laugh, and make lasting memories.”
The bar was made possible through a collaboration with Century Park Hotel Manila, ensuring world-class food and service to complement the entertainment. In addition, the venue’s “Noontime Show”—featuring fun games and unfiltered humor—airs live every Sunday on Facebook and YouTube, giving fans everywhere a taste of the action.
Looking ahead, The KoolPals are gearing up for a nationwide tour in 2025, bringing their shows to Pampanga, Cebu, Baguio, and beyond. The tour will culminate in the filming of their first comedy special, which they plan to stream on global platforms.
Reflecting on their journey, Caraan said, “We started with just a small room and basic equipment. Now, we have a bar and studio—proof of how far we’ve come. We’re excited for what’s ahead.”
At TheKoolPals Bar, one thing’s certain: every show promises to be funnier than the last.
