Food delicacies, home decor, houseware, and home furniture made in Rizal Province can now be purchased via an online store put up by a food and agricultural organization and IT and logistic companies in Rizal, with help from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Virtual Tindahang Rizalenyo, which can be visited here, is a collaboration among DTI’s Rizal Provincial Office, Samahan ng mga Rizaleno sa sektor ng Agrikultura at Pagkain (SARAP), Rizal TECH START UP Raksquad Solution Inc., DNA IT Solutions, and homegrown logistics company T&C Logistic.

The online store features more than 30 participating micro, small and medium enterprises which sell various best products from Rizal Province.

The project is also part of Rizal’s Project INSPIRE (Integrated Nurturing Services to Promote and Improve Rizaleños E-Commerce) for MSMEs to support the promotion of the widespread adoption of e-commerce in the province.

DTI’s mission has always been to support projects that help develop an end-to-end online marketing platform for MSMEs in the provinces to maximize the use of e-commerce for their businesses, according to DTI Rizal provincial director Mercedes Parreno. She added the project will help small businesses explore the potentials of new and bigger markets to further their growth.

Through the online store, Rizal MSMEs will be able to improve their business and encourage them to reach out to new markets through the digital marketplace. The virtual store will also provide local businesses more access to market by introducing their products to a broader domestic and global markets with use of technology.

Featuring 36 merchants from 13 municipalities and one city of Rizal Province, the online store sells a wide array of 267 quality products, such as holiday and houseware décor, wearables, furniture and furnishing, natural and organic products, fresh and processed food products.
