* d’Barlits Bistro in Orani

The d’Barlits Bistro in Orani, Bataan, is a cozy, family-run cafe that opened in 2022. They serve a delightful mix of comfort food and other delectable items. We particularly enjoyed their Clubhouse Sandwich and Cream Puffs that go well with their Americano coffee. Also worth checking out are their popular dishes such as vinaigrette salad, buffalo-style chicken wings, and pulled pork sandwiches. For coffee, their Vanilla Bean Latte, Salted Caramel Latte, and Dirty Matcha are must-tries. The place’s warm and inviting ambiance also makes it an ideal stopover for locals and tourists alike. PS: Visit their Facebook Page, where they post a lot of fun and funny content that features their crew. Such a delight!

* Mesa Feliz in Balanga

Mesa Feliz in Balanga is a restaurant known for its lively atmosphere, rather colorful interior, and friendly crew. With many Spanish-inspired dishes, Mesa Feliz offers a variety of delicious food items such as the Paella Valenciana, a fragrant rice dish with saffron, chicken, chorizo, and seafood. For seafood lovers, the Gambas al Ajillo, a sizzling plate of prawns in garlic and olive oil, is a must-try, especially when paired with their refreshing homemade Sangria. To finish your meal on a sweet note, the Churros con Chocolate, crispy churros dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with dark chocolate dipping sauce, is an excellent choice. Mesa Feliz provides an ideal setting for a festive celebration or a lively dinner with friends, making it a memorable dining experience in Bataan.

* Villa Amanda in Abucay

Located within a sprawling resort, Villa Amanda’s restaurant offers an escape, surrounded by lush gardens and a lot of pet animals (particularly birds and fishes). The restaurant’s menu showcases traditional Filipino dishes, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. One of the standout dishes is the nilasing na hipon, which serves as a perfect appetizer—a taste of what’s to come. The sinigang na baboy, a sour pork soup, is also a delight, with its tamarind-based broth, infused with the flavors of fresh vegetables and tender pork. Villa Amanda’s welcoming ambiance is perfect for family celebrations.
