Located along the sun-kissed shores of Laiya, San Juan in Batangas, Acuaverde Beach Resort has been a cherished retreat for travelers seeking peace and relaxation for over 13 years. Stepping into 2024, the resort proudly unveils Casa Solana, a new wing that meticulously blends modern comforts with Acuaverde’s signature hospitality.

Casa Solana opened in March, just in time for the deluge of guests during Holy Week. Eight of the 16 planned rooms have been completed, introducing elegantly designed rooms that blend contemporary amenities with rustic charm.

The rest of Casa Solana is expected to be completed soon. This would bring to 46 the total number of rooms in Acuaverde.

Patricia Gusi, the young but competent General Manager of Acuaverde, expressed how Casa Solana signifies the resort’s commitment to evolving with the times while preserving its core values of warmth and inclusivity. “We aim to ensure our guests—who we treat as family—enjoy unforgettable vacations. That goes for their beloved pets, too, which is why we have, over the years, remained one of the most pet-friendly resorts in the country,” she said.

The resort’s hospitality towards pets, particularly dogs and cats, is proof of its inclusive spirit. Gusi highlighted their dedicated menus, cozy amenities, an exciting Pet Loyalty Club, and a host of events throughout the year that center on the guests’ animal companions.

Gusi said even guests who do not come with pets but are very fond of them appreciate that animals get to run freely around the resort. Most of the pets are well-trained, well-behaved, and friendly, which means they do not bother guests who may not be as into pets as the other paw-parents.

Amidst lush surroundings teeming with ancient sampaloc (tamarind) trees and a sprawling beachfront, Acuaverde offers a cool respite from scorching summer temperatures, and a welcome retreat from the country’s soaring heat waves. Gusi said, “Our proximity to Metro Manila (just three hours away) makes us a convenient escape for city dwellers seeking a slice of paradise.”

Aside from swimming on the beach, guests can try a host of water activities, including banana boat rides and jet skiing.

Also worth noting is the resort’s friendly staff, who show genuine care and concern for guests from the moment they arrive until they leave the premises.

Looking ahead, Acuaverde envisions growth while staying true to its roots. Plans for expansion to accommodate larger gatherings and team-building activities align with their ethos of environmental stewardship and exceptional hospitality.

Reflecting on Acuaverde’s journey, Gusi said: “Every guest is not just a visitor but a cherished member of our extended family. Together, we celebrate nature’s beauty and create timeless moments, ensuring each stay is a lasting memory.”
