Converge ICT Solutions Inc. continues to shake up the local internet landscape with a series of new offerings and collaborations designed to redefine connectivity and entertainment for Filipinos.

One of the most anticipated developments is Converge’s partnership with Netflix, culminating in the launch of the Converge Netflix Bundle. This bundle, which starts at just P1,798 per month, provides seamless access to both world-class internet speeds and Netflix’s vast library of content.

The base package includes a Converge FiberX plan with boosted speeds of 325 Mbps, a Wi-Fi 6 modem, a Converge Xperience Box, and a Basic Netflix subscription supporting HD streaming on one device. For users who require more, premium plans offer higher speeds—up to 500 Mbps—and support for multiple simultaneous streams, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted binge-watching experience.

“This partnership delivers a better quality of experience for our customers. By integrating Netflix with our fiber internet, we aim to meet the growing demand for digital entertainment while ensuring exceptional connectivity,” said Dennis Anthony Uy, Converge CEO and co-founder.

Netflix’s Gaurav Pradhan echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of providing uninterrupted entertainment options to more Filipino households through strategic collaborations.

Lower prices, higher speeds

Converge is also setting a new standard for affordability in the broadband market by slashing the price of its 1Gbps FiberX plan by 50%, bringing it down to just P3,500 per month. Converge has also introduced the “Time of Day” plan, a flexible option that offers 1Gbps speeds during peak usage hours at discounted rates.

“Our goal is to make top-tier internet accessible to all Filipinos. These price reductions and flexible plans reflect our commitment to ensuring affordability without compromising quality,” said Orange Ramirez, vice president for brand and marketing.

For gaming enthusiasts, Converge has launched the Game Changer Elite Plan, a first in the country. This plan features a prioritization option that minimizes latency and enhances gaming performance. Gamers can enjoy lag-free sessions, solidifying Converge’s reputation as the go-to internet provider for competitive play.

“Gamers care deeply about speed and stability,” Ramirez said. “This plan ensures they have the edge they need to perform at their best.”

Expanding entertainment options

In line with its mission to enrich its customers’ digital experience, Converge has also partnered with Sky TV to offer a bundle that integrates premium TV channels with its internet services. This initiative underscores the company’s focus on providing all-in-one digital solutions.

Converge’s commitment to innovation is backed by its robust infrastructure. With a fiber network capable of reaching over 60% of Philippine households and powered by GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) technology, the company continues to expand its coverage while maintaining top-notch service quality.

Recognition from Ookla further validates Converge’s leadership in the broadband sector. For Q1 and Q2 of 2024, Converge was awarded the Ookla Speedtest Award for the fastest internet in the Philippines. Additionally, it topped Netflix’s ISP leaderboard during the same period, proving its capability to deliver seamless streaming experiences.
