Hotels in the Metro open their restaurants in time for Father’s Day celebration

The more “relaxed” lockdown in Metro Manila has allowed restaurants to have dine-in customers, although following the strict guidelines required by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for COVID-19.

These include 30-percent dine-in capacity, wearing of face masks, filling in health declaration forms, installation of plexiglass barriers, sanitation protocols, and many more.

Following these guidelines, a number of hotels in Metro Manila have already begun opening their restaurants for diners and also continue to offer pick-up and delivery of their delectable dishes and fares in time for the celebration of Father’s Day.

Here is a list of hotels, which you may have missed a lot during the long lockdown, that are either ready to welcome guests for dine-in or have delivery or take-out offers: 

A Family Barbecue Feast by Sheraton Manila Hotel

Sheraton Manila Hotel offers Father’s Day Barbecue Feast, a sumptuous spread inspired by what Dad would definitely love to indulge on. 

For P3,500 nett only, this barbecue spread is good for a family of four to six persons. The center of the feast is a 2-kg. baby back ribs drenched in smokin’ good sauce. It also comes with vegetable sides like mixed lettuce with thousand island dressing, corn and green beans hash, and garlic roasted potatoes. To complete this meal is an 8-inch decadent ube macapuno whole cake. 

You can also give a box of cake to an uncle, brother, grandfather or godfather as present. Sheraton Manila creates two specialty cakes just for this month – the Ube Macapuno Cake for P950 nett and the Rum Raisin Cake for P900 nett.

This month as well, their chefs have created food to-go good for sharing. On Oori To-Go is the Japchae Platter with three sides for P1,500 is just enough for five to six persons craving for authentic Korean food. Their best-selling Mocha Coffee Cake is also available at P750 nett.

Sheraton Manila is now accepting advance orders for June 20 and 21, but you can definitely enjoy this Father’s Day spread earlier – may it be for a different celebration, bring it home anytime. Diamond Hotel all set to celebrate Father’s Day as guests can now enjoy dine-in

Since the relaxation of the lockdown in Metro Manila, Diamond Hotel Philippines is once again setting tables for dine-in reservations at three of their premium dining outlets. Award-winning restaurants Corniche and the Lobby Lounge started welcoming diners on June 15, while authentic Japanese restaurant Yurakuen will be open to guests starting June 19.

Dusit Thani Manila’s Father’s Day feast comes with accommodation voucher

Dusit Thani Manila’s restaurants are now open for dine-in guests starting June 16. This is applicable for a la carte orders only and limited to 30-percent seating capacity in compliance with government policies. 

This Father’s Day, Dusit Thani Manila is serving up Dad’s  favorites such as US Angus Beef Rib-eye and lechon that come with a complimentary accommodation voucher. Father’s Day set menus are also available to make sure he gets the much-deserved gastronomic treat that comes with a P2,000 worth of room voucher.

Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s restaurants – Cucina and Lung Hin, its authentic Cantonese landmark – reopened on June 15 with reinforced safety protocols.

Now, guests may choose to either enjoy their Father’s Day meal in the hotel’s dining destinations, or bring home choice dishes for the celebration.
