In a business culture long driven by numbers, deadlines, and grind culture, Migs Flores offers something radically different: humanity. As the CEO and President of I Am+ Coaching and founder of Prime Consulting, Flores is one of the Philippines’ most forward-thinking young entrepreneurs—leading a movement centered on personal empowerment, emotional intelligence, and organizational transformation.
“I want to bring humanity back to companies,” he said. “The more you pressure people, the less they can think. When people are excited and happy, they become more creative.”
It’s a philosophy shaped not by buzzwords, but by experience. Flores launched I Am Plus in 2017 during what he calls the “down point” of his career. “I was trying to prove to everybody that I’m okay, and the more I tried hard, the more it didn’t work,” he said. With encouragement from his mentor, Coach Russ Juson, he turned inward—and eventually outward—starting what would become a nationwide coaching movement.

The COVID-19 pandemic proved pivotal. With the world on pause and mental health in crisis, Flores offered a lifeline. “Everybody was at home, everybody didn’t know what to do, everybody was looking for hope,” he said. Through online webinars and later in-person retreats, I Am Plus created safe spaces for Filipinos to reflect, recover, and grow.
Today, I Am Plus is a thriving coaching and consulting organization with offices in Ortigas, Cavite, Quezon City, Mindanao, and even Dubai. Flores leads a team of 20 core staff and five certified speakers who run programs on “personal mastery” and workplace culture. But don’t expect standard team-building fare. These aren’t just seminars—they are experiences meant to transform and challenge people to let go of emotional baggage, align with their values, and take accountability for their own growth.
When it comes to work, Flores said it’s “not about biometrics or clocking in hours.” Instead, it’s about holding people accountable for their specific deliverables. His flexible work model rewards trust, not timecards—something that resonates strongly in industries where burnout is rampant, such as real estate, insurance, and e-commerce.

At the core of his programs are three key metrics: how engaged employees feel, how excited they are about their work, and whether that excitement translates to productivity. “We don’t just look at the revenue,” he said. “We look into the backbone of that revenue—which is the people.”
This people-first model has found its audience. Flores’s clients are typically small to mid-scale companies with leaders who are willing to invest in their teams. But he’s quick to note that the programs only work if leadership is open-minded. “If the business owner’s view is that employees are always subordinate, this will not work,” he said. “We treat people as contributors, not slaves to the corporate machine.”
This belief in people isn’t just professional—it’s deeply personal. Flores is the son of an OFW and speaks often of his desire to help Filipinos unlock their capacity, at home and in the workplace. That passion carries into Prime Consulting, where he works with organizations on systems-level productivity. One case involved a 120-person team generating ₱5 million in sales. After restructuring, they achieved the same revenue with just 40 people—who were far more engaged.
Beyond the boardroom, Flores is building something even bigger: a three-hectare retreat center in Quezon Province. Designed as a space for introspection and growth, the project reflects his belief that Filipinos need more than training—they need healing. “People will come not to escape, but to rediscover themselves,” he said.

Despite his growing influence, Flores remains grounded. He starts each day with three hours of solitude, coffee, and what he calls “disciplined effort.” And since becoming a father just three weeks ago, his definition of success has shifted. “I used to dream of being a global inspirational speaker,” he said. “Now, my priority is making sure my daughter always feels my presence.”
At a time when many are rethinking what success looks like, Flores offers a refreshing alternative. It’s not about money or metrics—it’s about meaning. “The goal isn’t to acquire so much,” he said. “It’s to make sure you’re comfortable. Where everything you need and want is achievable.”
For Migs Flores, the future of work isn’t in a spreadsheet—it’s in the spirit of the people who show up every day. And with I Am Plus and Prime Consulting, he’s building more than just companies—he’s building a movement.
