Cebu Pacific (CEB) has reached remarkable new heights with two significant milestones that highlight its dedication to providing accessible and memorable travel experiences.
On December 11, 2024, the airline celebrated flying its 250 millionth passenger at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. The milestone passenger, Russel Capaniarihan, a Singapore-based overseas Filipino worker from Bacolod, returned home after 11 years to spend the holidays with her family.

Upon her arrival, Capaniarihan was welcomed by CEB President Xander Lao and Chief Marketing Officer Candice Iyog. As a token of appreciation, she received P250,000 in cash and 25 free round-trip tickets to any destination within Cebu Pacific’s extensive network.
The celebrations extended to Capaniarihan’s flight, where passengers of Flight 5J 814 from Singapore to Manila enjoyed games, prizes, and a sneak peek of the milestone announcement. Capaniarihan’s journey culminated in a warm reception at her hometown of Bacolod, where local representatives joined in the festivities.

Adding to this achievement, Cebu Pacific became the first Philippine company to light up Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Its “Fly to Happy, Fly to the Philippines” display showcased iconic Philippine destinations, including Boracay, Palawan, Mayon Volcano, and Mt. Apo. The campaign invited global travelers to experience the beauty of the Philippines and offered Filipinos in the UAE a nostalgic glimpse of home.
And as the peak travel season approaches this Christmas, CEB also gave tips to flyers to ensure a smoother journey. These include checking the airport terminal assignment of their flights before proceeding to the airport, arriving at the airport on time (at least three hours before departure for domestic flights and four for international ones).
They also advised flyers to consider checking in online, accomplish eTravel forms early, and ensure their carry-on bags comply with baggage policy. Lastly, CEB encourages individuals to self-tag their luggage for select domestic destinations for faster check-in process.
