Lista, a leading financial management app in the Philippines, marks its third anniversary with the launch of The Credit Club, an initiative which furthers Lista’s mission to empower Filipinos through financial literacy and greater accessibility to credit information.

The Credit Club is designed to help Millennials and Gen Z understand and master credit management. The exclusive community brings together key influencers, representatives from institutions like the Credit Information Corporation (CIC) and TransUnion Philippines, and financial experts. Together, they aim to promote credit awareness and responsible financial habits among young Filipinos.

“Understanding one’s credit score is critical for financial empowerment, yet many overlook it,” said Khriz Lim, Co-Founder and COO of Lista. “With The Credit Club, we’re building a community that shifts the conversation around credit. It’s not just a number—it’s a powerful tool for achieving financial success.”

Data from TransUnion’s Q1 2024 Consumer Pulse Study highlights the growing importance of credit for younger Filipinos. An overwhelming 98% of Gen Z respondents see access to credit as essential for reaching financial goals, and many actively monitor their credit health. Recognizing this trend, Lista’s new initiative seeks to close the knowledge gap and equip the next generation with tools to navigate the world of credit effectively.

More than just a group, The Credit Club is a movement to promote a culture of credit literacy and inclusivity. Through engaging discussions, practical advice, and influential ambassadors, the initiative transforms credit from an intimidating concept into an empowering resource.

As Lista celebrates this milestone, the app continues its commitment to financial empowerment. With over 3 million downloads, it has become a trusted partner for millions of Filipinos managing personal and business finances. Lista’s focus on simplicity, education, and accessibility has helped users build sustainable financial habits for long-term success.

“At Lista, we believe financial empowerment starts with knowledge,” Lim said. “Through initiatives like The Credit Club, we’re proud to guide Filipinos toward a secure and prosperous future.”

With The Credit Club leading the way, Lista is shaping a financially informed generation, ensuring Millennials and Gen Z are equipped to achieve their goals and redefine financial success.
